Beginning Photography for D-SLRs
Tailored for the beginner, the object of the class is to give some easy rules to remember for improving your images in all types of conditions with any accessory, with special emphasis on shooting action, inside (and outside) flash tips, quick portrait techniques and great scenic advice.
Participants should have a digital camera with interchangeable lens. Average class size is 12-15.

Remote Flash Workshop With Robert Harrington

Local photographer Bob Harrington will be running his workshops in the area over the winter including at Milford Photo.
Learning how to use your shoe mount accessory strobe.
No accessory is as useful as the shoe mount flash. Learn important techniques for indoor and outdoor flash. We’ll spend some time in the class room then outside the store for some experiment with flash fill.
Participants should have a D-SLR with accessory flash and a basic knowledge of their camera. 10 people max.

How to get great portraits in your home with your D-SLR
You can get great portraits of friends, family, even pets with little more than your camera and a couple of lights. Learn how. Class size is limited to 10 people. Participants should have a DSLR or advanced point and shoot camera with exposure controls. Contact us for more information.

We’ll hook your camera up to a monitor and review anything and everything on any camera.

Learn how your DSLR meters light and color. Then see techniques for effectively setting your camera for more consistent, quality exposure and color balance. Participants should have a working knowledge of their DSLR camera and should have it with them for the class.
